Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sun, 9 Oct 2011 13:34:55 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at very low levels with NOAA 11313 continuing to decay. A new, unnumbered active region rotating onto the northeast limb has been the source of several B-class flares over the past 24 hours, and shall be the new target region. Its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time but increased activity is possible.

The approximate position of the target regionĀ on 9-Oct-2011 at 12:30 UT is:

N23E83, ( -878", 361" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
