MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1363 continues in growth phase increasing sunspot count, sunspot area, and now magnetic complexity. 1363 is now classified as an E-type/beta-gamma region and it appears that a magnetic delta configuration might be developing. 1363 has only produced C-class activity in the past few days but there is now an increasing chance of an M-class event. If a strong delta configuration develops, there is a chance of an M-class event = or >M5.

The position of NOAA 1363 on December 03 at 16:00 UT is: S23E24 (Solar X = -366", Solar Y = -390")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
