Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to low levels. The newly emerged bipolar region in the southeast quadrant has undergone further development and has been accompanied by a second emerging region. They are now designated NOAA 11381 and 11382, respectively; NOAA 11382 being slightly larger. Chance for isolated low-level events as the regions continue to develop.
The position of NOAA 11382 on 19-Dec-2011 at 12:00 UT is:
S18E19, ( -299", -281" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
