Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11389 has produced only a few high B- and low C-class events since the last message. This region has maintained area, increased slightly in number of spots, and is now classified as a beta/F-type sunspot group. Continued C-class activity is expected, with a small chance for an M-class event.

The position of NOAA 11389 on 2-Jan-2012 at 13:00 UT is:

S22E10, ( -157", -318" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
