<p>NOAA region 11393 continues to grow in both size and complexity and is now
classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region has produced 4 C-class
events since the last message, the largest being a C2.9 flare on 8-Jan-2012 at
03:21 UT. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a very
small chance for an isolated low M-class flare if flux emergence continues.
