Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at a low level. NOAA region 11413 continues in emergence, having increased in spot area, number of spots, and complexity. This region is now classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group with the merging of several leading spots and development of more mature penumbrae. C-class activity is possible in the next 24 hours, with an increasing chance if NOAA 11413 undergoes some flux emergence between the leading and following spots.

The position of NOAA 11413 on 31-Jan-2012 at 13:30 UT is:

N08E15, ( -243", 232" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
