Date: Fri, 2 Mar 2012 10:44:36 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains low. NOAA 11423 was the source of a C3.3 flare at 15:10 UT yesterday. A new sunspot region has emerged within the decaying plage of NOAA 11424, designated NOAA 11427, and has produced several B-level events in the past 24 hours. NOAA 11427 shall be the new target region and may produce further low-level activity if it continues to develop.

The position of NOAA 11427 on 2-Mar-2012 at 10:30 UT is:

N15W11, ( 187", 365" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
