Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 3 Mar 2012 09:29:01 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased significantly. A new region on the northeast limb was the source of several C-class flares, as well as an M3.3 flare at 17:29 UT yesterday. This new target region is not yet numbered, and its magnetic configuration is unclear, but further intermediate level activity is expected with chance for another M-class flare.

The approximate position of the target region on 3-Mar-2012 at 09:30 UT is:

N18E85, ( -917", 306" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
