Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity remains very low. NOAA region 11450 has continued to grow slightly in spot area and number of spots. This region has maintained a beta magnetic configuration but increased in D-type sunspot group complexity by developing spots between the primary leading and trailing spots. NOAA 11450 was the source of 5 B-class events since the last message, the largest being a B7.1 flare on 4-Apr-2012 at 05:29 UT. Further B-class events are likely in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class event.

The position of NOAA 11450 on 4-Apr-2012 at 10:30 UT is:

N16W10, ( 157", 364" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
