Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at a very low level. NOAA region 11450 appears to be decaying as it approaches the North West limb. However, some of the decrease in spot area, number of spots, and complexity may be due to foreshortening effects. This region has a beta-gamma/C-type sunspot group classification. B-class events are possible in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class event.

The position of NOAA 11450 on 8-Apr-2012 at 09:00 UT is:

N15W64, ( 833", 290" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
