Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Mon, 11 Jun 2012 10:01:23 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Yesterday's target region NOAA 11504 has increased in both spot area and number of spots and is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. These increases appear to be to due to new flux emerging within the region, rather than being due to rotation onto the solar disk. NOAA 11504 has continued to produce C-class events in the past 24 hours. Further C-class activity is expected, with a good chance for another M-class event if 11504 continues to experience flux emergence.

The position of NOAA 11504 on 11-Jun-2012 at 09:00 UT is:

S18E46, ( -649", -299" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
