MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is very low. The target region will continue to be NOAA 1555 for another 24 hours. 1555 is mostly unchanged. The target will most likely switch tomorrow to an active region located beyond the southeast limb that was the source of minor B-class events since the last message. No significant activity expected in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 1555 on August 29 at 13:00 UT is: N08E21 (Solar X = -338", Solar Y = 021)

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
