Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity continues at very low levels despite the target region NOAA 11640 growing to over 200 uH. The region retains its beta configuration but has developed into an E-type sunspot group. Additional B-level activity expected over the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11640 on 3-Jan-2012 at 10:00 UT is:

N28W27, ( 392", 503" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
