Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 10 Aug 2013 10:55:13 -0400

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at low levels. NOAA 11810 has now almost completely decayed. A new, as yet unnumbered, region on the eastern limb was the source of a C2.0 flare at 20:13 UT yesterday, which appears to have been associated with a CME. The region is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it shall be the new target region. Chance for additional C-level activity as it rotates on to the disk.

The position of the target region on 10-Aug-2013 at 13:00 UT is:

S05E72, ( -896", -115" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
