Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 17 Aug 2013 18:14:22 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11818) was responsible for high B-class and low C-class activity since the previous message (the largest event being a C1.3 flare on 17-Aug-2013 at 03:30 UT). While the total spot area has increased slightly, the main polarity separation line has decreased in strength. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for an isolated low M-class event.

The position of NOAA 11818 on 17-Aug-2013 at 17:00 UT is: S07W28, ( 449", -213" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
