Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 11830 has slowed in its growth since the last message. This region has shown a minor increase in spot area over the past 24 hours, maintained a beta/D-type sunspot group classification and produced a C1.0 flare on 23-Aug-2013 at 16:45 UT. B-class activity is expected over the following 24 hours, with a good chance for further C-class events.

The position of NOAA 11830 on 24-Aug-2013 at 10:30 UT is:

S05W70, ( 888", -122" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
