Subject: MM#019 DST Flare Campaign"
Date: Wed, 9 Oct 2013 16:55:58 -0400

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A newly numbered region near the southeast limb, NOAA 11865, was the source of an M2.8 flare at 01:23 UT today and shall be the new target region. At this time we are implementing MM#019 DST Flare Campaign in support of the Service Mode operations being run at the Dunn Solar Telescope throughout the month of October. The region appears to contain some mixed polarity in its trailing portion and has exhibited some dynamic behavior since the flare. There is an increased possibility of the region producing another C5 flare or greater over the next 24-48 hours. If supporting the DST Flare Campaign, please select NOAA 11865 as your target region and observe between 14:00-17:00 UT when seeing conditions are optimal at the facility.

The position of NOAA 11865 on 9-Oct-2013 at 20:35 UT is:

S20E61, ( -791", -374" )
