Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA regions 11875 and 11882 continue to be the most magnetically complex regions on the visible solar disk, both showing a beta-gamma-delta magnetic classification. NOAA 11875 has maintained area and number of spots and continues to produce C-class flares. NOAA 11882 has grown in area and number of spots, but has decreased in flare productivity over the previous 24 hours (despite containing the strongest delta spot). At this stage we are ceasing the MM#018 Great Flare Watch to reinstate the MM#003 Major Flare Watch on NOAA 11882 for at least the next 24 hours, as this region retains the potential for a >M5 flare.

The position of NOAA 11882 on 27-Oct-2013 at 22:00 UT:

S08E35, ( -548", -200" )
