MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is currently at a moderate level. The most active region was NOAA 1875 now located on the northwestern limb. 1875 was the source of numerous C-class events and an M1.5 at 10/28/20:57 UT. Target region NOAA 1882 (S08E10) is now in decay phase displaying a much weaker magnetic delta. We will switch to NOAA 1875 today. NOAA 1877 (S12E67) has emerging flux and will likely be chosen for the target region tomorrow. 1875, 1877, and 1882 are capable of producing C-class events with the chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 1875 on October 29 at 18:00 UT is: N06W89 (Solar X = 960", Solar Y = 099")
