MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1884 was the source of two M-class events in the past 24 hours - M1.6 at 11/02/22:21 UT and an M4.9 at 11/03/05:22 UT. 1884 is classified as an E-type/beta-gamma-delta region. The magnetic delta configuration is currently weakening but the region continues to have the potential to produce another M-class event in the next 24 hour period. NOAA 1890, S09E66, is a large E-type/beta-gamma region that is also capable of producing an M-class event. 1890 was the source of a C9.9 event at 11/03/16:28 UT. 1884 will remain the target region for at least another 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 1884 on November 03 at 14:00 UT is: S12W21 (Solar X = 340", Solar Y = -264)
