Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is low. NOAA region 11909 has continued to decay as it rotates up to the South West limb, decreasing in both spot area and number of spots. NOAA 11909 has been flare quiet since producing an M1.2 flare on 7-Dec-2013 at 07:17 UT. The most complex region on disk is NOAA 11916 (a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group) that has also grown over the past 24 hours. C-class activity is probable over the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11916 on 8-Dec-2013 at 18:30 UT is:

S13W35, ( 549", -218" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
