MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target (NOAA regions 1920, N12E64 and 1921, N06E68) have completed east limb passage without producing any significant activity in the past 24 hours. Both regions have simple H-type/alpha sunspot groups. The target of choice will switch back to NOAA 1916. 1916 is maintaining a E-type/beta-gamma classification. C-class events possible with a chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 1916 on December 10 at 12:30 UT is: S13W58 (Solar X = 806", Solar Y = -216")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
