MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is very low. NOAA 1991 has significantly decayed since the last message. The target will switch to slowly developing NOAA 1996 which is currently displaying bright H-alpha plage and an arch-type filament system. No significant flare events expected in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 1996 on March 07 at 12:30 UT is: N15W05 (Solar X = 081", Solar Y = 367")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
