Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 20 May 2014 10:11:17 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at low levels. There have been two C1 flares since the last message; one from parting region NOAA 12058, and one from a new region on the eastern limb designated NOAA 12071. The latter appears to be a simple bipolar sunspot group and shall be the new target region. Additional isolated C-class flares possible.

The position of NOAA 12071 on 20-May-2014 at 07:35 UT is:

S11E75, ( -899", -172" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
