Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA regions 12108 and 12109 remain the largest and most complex regions on the visible disk, both still being classified as beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot groups. Of these two regions, 12108 has shown signs of magnetic flux emergence over the past 24 hours and has produced two low C-class flares since the last message. Further C-class activity is likely over the next 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12108 on 8-Jul-2014 at 16:00 UT is:

S08W21, ( 334", -188" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
