Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 29 Jul 2014 10:54:14 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target (the complex of NOAA 12123 and NOAA 12126) was responsible for a series of C-class events. However, NOAA 12127 was responsible for the lasrgest event since the previous message, an impulsive C4.6 flare on 29-Jul-2014 at 16:33 UT. The region exhibits the largest spot area on disk and shows some evidence for a weak delta configuration. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a high C-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12127 on 29-July-2014 17:50 UT is:

S15W58, ( 771", -292" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
