Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 7 Aug 2014 10:53:43 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 12135 shows significant spot development since the last message, but maintains a simple configuration, is isolated, and has not produced significant activity so far. On the other hand, yesterday's target region (NOAA 12132) still shows continued flux emergence in the following portion, and was responsible for further C-class activity, including a ~C1.5 flare that is currently in progress. Further C-class activity is expected with the chance for a high C-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12132 on 7-Aug-2014 18:00 UT is:

S20W31, ( 457", -406" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
