Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate. Since the previous message, yesterday's target, NOAA 12172, has released a M1 flare on 2-Oct-2014 at 17:30 UT. Given that NOAA 12172 is at the West limb, the target will switch to NOAA 12178, which shows the largest spot area and the most X-ray activity of the regions still on disk. Low C-class activity is expected with the chance for a moderate C-class event.
