Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Wed, 21 Jan 2015 16:13:05 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased significantly over the past few hours with a number of C-level events emanating from an active region just beyond the southeast limb. This included a partially-occulted C9.9 flare that occurred at 11:32 UT today. Although its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time, this shall be the new target region. Further C-level activity likely with chance for an low M-class flare.
The approximate position of the target region on 21-Jan-2015 at 12:35 UT is:
S11E88, ( -956", -183" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
