Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. NOAA region 12280 has continued to produce C-class activity in the past 24 hours, as this region maintained spot area and increased slightly in complexity to a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group classification. The largest flare of the past 24 hours was an M2.4 event on 9-Feb-2015 at 22:59 UT, which was produced by NOAA 12282. However, this region remains less complex than 12280. Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12280 on 10-Feb-2015 at 22:30 UT is:
S07W53, ( 767”, -50” )
