Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity continues to be low. NOAA region 12339 has grown further over the past 24 hours, increasing in both spot area and number of spots. This region has maintained a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot group classification. NOAA 12339 has produced 7 C-class events since yesterday’s message, including the largest flare of the period (a C5.5 on 8-May-2015 at 03:56 UT). The Major Flare Watch will continue for 24 hours as this region retains the potential for another flare above the M5 level.
The position of NOAA 12339 on 8-May-2015 at 16:00 UT is:
N13E38, ( -574”, 258” )
