Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA region 12353 has rotated up to the North West limb. A new spotted region rotated over the South East limb in the past 48 hours, but has remained unnumbered. This region produced a C1.3 flare on 27-May-2015 at 21:22 UT and appears to comprise of a reasonably-sized leading-polarity spot with diffuse trailing-polarity plage. B-class activity is likely over the next 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low C-class event.
The approximate position of this region on 28-May-2015 at 20:00 UT is:
S18E71, ( -851”, -287” )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
