Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message. A new region on the northeast limb, designated NOAA 12361, was the source of several C-class flares including a C8.1 at 09:36 UT yesterday and shall be the new target region. The region is classified as a beta/D-type region but appears to have some mixed polarity in its core. It is also undergoing rapid flux emergence near its southern leading edge. Further C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours with the possibility of an isolated low-M flare.
The position of NOAA 12361 on 5-Jun-2015 11:35 UT is:
N16E57, ( -763", 262" )
