MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The largest event was a
B7.2 at 08/05/11:38 UT produced by target region NOAA 2396.
2396 continues in growth phase. It is currently displaying a
D-type/beta-gamma sunspot group with bright and somewhat
dynamic H-alpha plage. B-class events probable with the
chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2396 on August 05 at 14:53 UT is:
S18E33 (Solar X = -491", Solar Y = -371")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
