Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 9 Oct 2015 10:04:56 -0600

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level with the soft X-ray flux flat at ~B1. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12427 has rotated over the west limb. There are currently two numbered sunspot regions on the solar disk, which has been flare quiet. Today's target will be near the southeastern limb with some loops appearing. Only minor events expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of the target on October 9 at 14:35 UT is:
S22E75 (Solar X = -895", Solar Y = -370")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
