Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 12473 continues to be the largest and most complex region on disk. NOAA 12473 grew in number of spots and marginally in spot area over the past 24 hours, while losing a significant amount of penumbrae from its internal spots. 12473 has retained a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group designation and has continued to produce the majority of the ongoing C-class activity, including the largest magnitude flare since yesterday's message (a C7.8 on 26-Dec-2015 at 05:01 UT). More C-class flares are expected over the next 24 hours, with a reasonable chance for a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12473 on 26-Dec-2015 at 20:30 UT is:
S22E11, ( -172", -330" )
