Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 4 Feb 2016 09:47:44 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at ~C1 level. A few C-class events were produced by various active regions. The largest event since the last message was a C2.4 at 12:16 UT on February 4 from a newly emerged region (S11E19). This new region developed rapidly in the previous 24 hours and has produced three low C-class events today. It will be today's target region. Further C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on February 4 at 15:30 UT is:
S11E16 (Solar X = -280", Solar Y = -120")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
