Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity continues to be low. NOAA 12506 grew somewhat over the previous 24 hours, increasing in spot area and longitudinal extent. As a result NOAA 12506 is now classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. This region was the source of the largest flare since the last message - a B6.9 on 29-Feb-2016 at 04:19 UT. More B-class flares are expected over the following 24 hours, with a chance for another low C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12506 on 29-Feb-2016 at 15:00 UT is:
S05W15, ( 256", 33" )
