Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity continues to be low. NOAA region 12529 has rotated up to the North West limb and remains classed as a beta/C-type sunspot group despite being significantly affected by foreshortening effects. NOAA 12529 continues to be the most flare-productive region and was the source of the largest event since yesterday's message (a C1.0 flare on 19-Apr-2016 at 22:52 UT). C-class activity is possible over the next 24 hours, with a slight chance for a low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12529 on 20-Apr-2016 at 16:00 UT is:
N10W90, ( 940", 165" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
