Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be very low. The largest event since the last message was a C1.7 at 22:43 UT on May 4 produced by the new limb region (now designated as NOAA 12542). 12542 was classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group (but seems to have a beta-gamma configuration). It is showing some mixed polarities in its trailing positive spot. Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12542 on May 5 at 19:43 UT is:
N09E58 (-798",180")
