Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a B5.3 at 02:25 UT on May 8 produced by NOAA 12541 (N04W10). Target region NOAA 12542 has begun to decay and fragment, and has been classified as an alpha/H-type configuration but slightly increasing in sunspot area. It produced a small filament eruption at ~22:30 UT on May 7. There is still a filament located in its south. No significant events are likely over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12542 on May 8 at 16:43 UT is:
N11E18 (-289",233")
