Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Mon, 9 May 2016 12:12:51 -0600

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at very low levels. The largest event since the last message was a B9.4 at 05:11 UT on May 9 produced by NOAA 12541 (N04W24), associated with a filament eruption in the southeast of the region. Target region NOAA 12542 also produced a B-class event (B3.3 at 16:17 UT on May 9) due to an interaction of two filaments around the region (in its south and north). 12542 was re-classified as a beta/C-type region but decreasing in sunspot area. It continues to show mixed polarities around the negative leading spot. Only minor events are expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 12542 on May 9 at 17:43 UT is:
N12E05 (-81",250")
