Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity now drops back to the low B-level. The largest event since the last message was a C6.6 flare at 21:31 UT on July 17 produced by the target region NOAA 12567. 12567 was also the source of another two C-class flares (C1.0 and C4.4). It is remaining a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group, with mixed polarities near the polarity inversion line. The coronal loops above NOAA 12567 are interacting with the loops from NOAA 12565 that was the source of a few B-class events. So if possible, please include NOAA 12565 in your field of view. Further B- and C-level activities are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12567 on July 18 at 17:20 UT is:
N05W08 (131", 5")
