Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a C1.1 flare at 11:51 UT today produced by NOAA 12599. 12599 will be today's target. It has a beta/C-type magnetic classification, and is displaying some dynamic surges in H-alpha images. B-class activities are expected with a slight chance of low-level C-class events.
The position of NOAA 12599 on October 12 at 15:30 UT is:
S15W41 (611", -321")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
