Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at an extremely low level. The background x-ray flux is currently at the A6.8 level. Target region, NOAA 2622, has completed west limb passage. The new target will be a weak EFR located in the southwestern quadrant. No significant events expected anytime soon.
The position of the EFR on January 02 at 08:00 UT is: S08W35 (Solar X = 556", Solar Y = 092")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
