MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at an extremely low level. The target EFR (S08W50) decayed significantly losing its small beta sunspot group. The target will switch to a decaying plage located in the northeastern quadrant. There is currently a tiny sunspot pore in the trailing portion of the region. No noteworthy events expected anytime soon.
The position of the target on January 03 at 13:30 UT is: N13E27 (Solar X = -433", Solar Y = 269")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
