Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 10 Jun 2017 22:42:36 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA 12661 has been confirmed as having decayed into spotless plage. A new magnetic region is now rotating over the South East limb. Although it is unknown if this region consists of sunspots or only plage fields, it will become the new target. B-class activity is possible over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 10-Jun-2017 at 21:30 UT is:
S06E90, ( -939", -99" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
