Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The active region in the southeast has now been designated as NOAA 12670. It has a simple bipolar configuration and has been largely quiescent since the last message, apart from a B9.4 flare today at 00:04 UT. The region itself has remained fairly unchanged over the past few days, but may produce additional isolated low-level events over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12670 on 3-Aug-2017 at 13:30 UT is:
S05E50, ( -723", -145" )
