Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The largest event since the last message was an M1.2 at 05:36 UT on September 4 produced by NOAA 12673. 12673 also produced three C1 flares. Today we will switch the target to 12673 which has been classified as a beta-gamma/D-type configuration. Yesterday's target NOAA 12674 (N14E08) has decayed to a beta/F-type region and only produced a B5.9 and a C1.1 events in the past 24 hours. Further C-class activities are expected from 12674 and 12673, with a chance of another low M-class event from 12673.
The position of NOAA 12673 on September 4 at 07:30 UT is:
S10W06 (98", -282")
