Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The Major Flare Watch region NOAA 12673 was the source of three low M-class flares (the largest one being an M2.9 at 15:09 UT on September 8) and numerous low C-class events in the past 24 hours. 12673 has been classified as a D-type/ beta-gamma-delta configuration. It begins to decay slowly as rotating over the western limb. We will continue the Major Flare Watch for a last 24 hours with a slight chance of an isolated major flare.
The position of NOAA 12673 on September 9 at 07:30 UT is:
S09W74 (905", -180")
